Seeking Experienced HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATORS for our 2025 construction season. However, we are WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE, who possesses related/transferrable skills (Excavator, Dozer, Skid Steer, Rock Truck, Loaders, Packers, and Water trucks, Class 3/Air). We are looking for operators with experience that can be TRAINABLE on milling machines as well.
This is a full-time seasonal position; schedules are job-specific. (Potential longer season for the right candidates).
Pay Scale: $25.00 – $45.00 per hour. Negotiable based on skill and experience.
Duties:
- Performing a variety of HEO tasks.
- (Moving material, dumping, placing, loading material into trucks, etc.)
- Complete daily inspections and hazard assessments.
- Respond to signals and directions of onsite personnel and Supervisors.
- Follow safe work practices, procedures, and specific work site conditions.
- Perform safety, maintenance, and servicing checks.
- Clean, lubricate, and fuel equipment daily.
- Inform management or mechanics of major repairs and maintenance requirements.
- Willing and able to assist ground crew when equipment/machine is not in use.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience operating equipment in a construction setting preferred.
- Possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Positive attitude with an attention to safety.
- Own reliable transportation for commute to our shop/city yard.
- Able to work Full-time, including overtime.
- Fatigue management rules apply.
